Quality Assurance Coordinator

Duration: Full Time Department: Reports

Summary

Quality Assurance (QA) Coordinators within the Quality Assurance Department assist with the overall and
day to day operations of the department, ensuring that medical/legal reports are received and delivered
to the client in a timely manner.

Responsibilities

  • Report to the QA Manager/Director. 
  • Assist with the coordination and assignment of reports to be reviewed and coordinate  communication among the department. 
  • Report processing, formatting, and sending of final reports to clients and assessors. 4. Follow up with assessors to ensure reports and invoices are received on a timely basis.  5. Resolve any questions or concerns raised either internally or externally (clients) in a timely and  professional manner. 
  • Assist with assessor recruitment/update efforts.

Qualifications

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, Internet Explorer etc. is necessary to carry out all  job duties in a comprehensible and efficient manner. Must possess strong tendencies for  accuracy and attention to detail. 
  • Ability to work in a fast paced and high stress environment along with ability to multi-task, time  manage and prioritize on own initiative.  
  • Ability to work as part of a team. 
  • Familiarity and experience with insurance claims and legislative policies and medical terminology  in order to read review reports and communicate intelligently with physicians and clients is an  asset. 
  • Fluent command of the English language, written and oral. 
  • While working in office, normal office environment with some exposure to moderate noise from office  equipment and/or generated by staff members.

Education & Experience

  • Experience in a high energy office is an asset. 
  • Experience in IME work or insurance/claim management is an asset.
  • Post Secondary training is an asset.
